Bree Truby, Parade Director
On behalf of the Garrett Hill-Rosemont Parade Committee, we are excited to announce that we are making plans for our annual Garrett Hill-Rosemont 4th of July Parade, that will take place on Saturday, July 3, 2021.
In accordance with state, township, and CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19 and in the best interests of our community, the celebration will look a little different this year. We will not be hosting activities in Clem Macrone Park after the parade has ended. We recognize that COVID regulations have changed since our last communication and are working to adapt and ensure that this year's parade is one for the record books! The 4th of July Committee is once again inviting all children and families to decorate bikes and floats to ride in the parade in 2021. We hope to see your RED, WHITE, and BLUE. Registration is at Rosemont Business Campus at 9:30 am and Judging begins at 10 AM.
This year’s parade will begin and end at the Rosemont Business Campus and will follow the previously used route through our community. Thanks to our fundraising efforts and your generous donations, we are once again able to include some of the traditional favorites in the parade lineup. Please remember to wear your masks and maintain social distancing whether you are enjoying the parade from your yard or other areas along the parade route.
A special thank you to those who donated toward the 2020 parade. Your financial support promotes the continued success of this community-sponsored celebration!
The pandemic has affected our community members in various ways over the past year. We appreciate your contributions--large or small.
We are looking forward to seeing you in your red, white, and blue on July 3, 2021!
